Grub Nash is an advanced biocontrol agent designed for the effective management of white grubs in various crops. Developed with ICAR’s expertise, this innovative solution contains infective juveniles of Entomopathogenic nematodes (EPN) Heterorhabditis indica, which actively target and eliminate grubs within 48-96 hours through a natural biological mechanism. With a broad host range, high virulence, and strong reproductive capacity, Grub Nash ensures rapid and long-lasting pest control. Unlike chemical pesticides, it is safe for the environment, does not harm beneficial organisms, and is easy to apply using conventional equipment. Way2Agribusiness India Pvt Ltd ensures the availability of Grub Nash in convenient 1 kg and 5 kg packaging to cater to different farming needs. For application, mix 3-5 kg of Grub Nash with 100-150 kg of sand, soil, manure, vermicompost, or cocopeat and apply it near the root zone, or use a drenching method by mixing 100 gm of Grub Nash in 15 liters of water i.e., at the rate of 6-7 grams per liter and applying it through a nozzle-free pump. The preferred season for application would be sowing time for field crops and May/June or Oct/Nov for plantation crops like Arecanut and coconut. This eco-friendly solution supports sustainable agriculture by offering an efficient and farmer-friendly approach to pest management.
